My name is Pei Chen.
As a Level Designer and Gameplay Designer, I am proficient in Unreal Engine with hands-on expertise in greyboxing (white-box level prototyping), Blueprint scripting, and environmental lighting/level art. On the design front, I specialize in reverse-engineering shooter gameplay mechanics, designing combat-focused gameplay levels, and optimizing/building level design pipelines.
During my internship, I served as an Art Team Lead, demonstrating team delivery awareness and project execution capabilities. With a developed aesthetic sensibility, I am skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator, adept at character/monster design and shot composition/storyboarding.
A hardcore gamer with extensive experience across shooters, MOBAs, action games, and indie titles, I am passionate about game design and have won multiple Game Jam awards.
